Mars
31st October 2005
Mars was at opposition yesterday, but due to heavy cloud cover I was unable to get any images of it.
Luckily at 10:30pm on 31 st October 2005, the sky cleared, so this time I managed to get out with the telescope.

Mars was shining high in the East at magnitude -2.3 and was approximately 20 arcseconds. This would be the biggest Mars would get for around 13 years.
