Mars

16th July 2005

I set the alarm for 2am so i could see Mars for the first time with my telescope.

Mars was only 15 degrees above the horizon so the "seeing" was very bad. I have managed to capture an image of Mars and there is some detail on view.

The scale is quite small due to the short focal length of my scope and even though the image is not very good, i'm just happy to have captured the planet.
