M33 - The Pinwheel Galaxy

Tried a reprocess of the images below and this looks a bit more colour balanced.

27th November 2006

Quite a windy night but I managed to capture a lot of data for the newest shot of M33.

26 x 3 mins = 1h 18 min total exposure

I'm very happy with these shots and now need to work a bit on the flat frame and focus.

In the image above i have tried to pull out a bit more detail in the image but i think i have lost a bit of colour in the stars.

Close-up of the galaxy

On inspection of my latest images i have noticed a few very faint galaxies and the images below show where they are located.

The images above show the galaxy PGC005899, which at 15.51 magnitude its pretty faint
These images above show yet another faint fuzzy. This time its the galaxy PGC005694 at magnitued 16.50, even fainter!

31.10.06 - This is my first image of M33. Its a large galaxy found in the Triangulum constellation. I'm quite surprised at the amount of detail.
